HISTORY OF SFC

The French Ceramic Society (SFC) is a technical Center with the Association 1901 status as a non-profit organization, dedicated to the individual and collective support of French industry. Created in 1926) it has been recognized of public utility in 1930.
To allow a widest possible diversification of its activities, its statutes were modified in 2003. In 2019, the association evolves in a strategic dimension towards the enhancement of the expertise of highly qualified personnel.
SFC’s activities are distributed on collective and commercial axes:

  • Industry representation actions,
  • Scientific works with a view to promote the industrial developments or the use of finished products,
  • Technical works for manufacturers and users of finished products,
  • Application of methods and processes developed by the SFC to any industrial sector.

Due to its human dimension and through its values, SFC relies on high-performance skills and equipment to improve the competitiveness of the national industry. The development of qualitative partnerships with technical, scientific and economic players (manufacturers, technical centers, universities and schools) allows SFC to offer tailor-made services to its beneficiaries.
