The strengths of SFC
SFC has certificates to check the quality, reliability, performance and conformity of certified products. It is thus certified and mandated to control the compliance of many families of products according to the certification rules and standards requirements.
SFC offers to industrials, suppliers and laboratories its expertise and its equipment facilities to carry out audits, product certifications and tailor-made support according to your needs.
The certification of industrial products aims to guarantee the quality, reliability and performance of the products in fairness and independence. For the manufacturer, it is a lever for competitiveness which enables it to establish trust relationship with its customers and partners.
Real commercial argument, it constitutes a tool of confidence for users and consumers. Product certification is based on a specific benchmark (often a standard), which defines the performance required to ensure the suitability for use of the products.
The benefits
SFC operates on the following services:
- Product audit, quality audit and advice on production site.
- Certification audit* subcontracted by CSTB in the reference QB11 (Adhesives for tiles, floor finishes, single-layer plaster mortars, thin layer mortars for small masonry units and water protection systems under tiles), QB15 (Built-up cladding products, vetures, cladding products, soffit products), QB32 (Ceramic tiles for floor coverings) and devices according NF SANITAIRES.
- Tests on finished products in laboratory.
- Round robin tests.
*Quality mark. The certification is issued by an accredited certification agency. In this context, the SFC has private recognition by the CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment) and acts as a subcontracting laboratory.
The quality approach
SFC has a number of labels, approvals and recognitions that testify its professionalism and its involvement in Research and Innovation. In particular, it has the agreement “Crédit impôt recherche” (CIR) Research Tax Credit, with a doubling of the tax base calculation.
SFC also possesses a quality management system that meets the requirements to the NF EN ISO 17025 standard.
SFC is thus Cofrac Essais, n°1-0062 accredited (scope available on www.cofrac.fr) according to the NF EN ISO 17025 standard. Its accreditation relates to:
- Floors and wall and floor coverings (ceramic tiles and slabs, etc.)
- Sanitarywares (WC bowls and tanks, glazed surfaces, etc.)
- The aptitude for food contact of different materials
